I have 30x9.50's on 15x7 with 3.75" backspacing and all of them cleared the fenders with no trimming except the front left tire. It just rubbed a smidge on the back of the front fender, on the inside, but only with the wheel cranked and the suspension compressed. All I did was unscrew the plastic inner liner, bend the metal behind it back with a hammer, then re-attach the plastic using a zip-tie. No more rub.

i was planning on bending the metal back in the fender wheel just to give a little more clearance.

Yup, that's where it starts.  Once you get up to the 33's, you don't even flinch, when you whip out the sawzall, and commence with the slicing and dicing of the sheet-metal.  I remember how nervous I was when I took the saw to the body for the first time - opening up a hole through the fender for the snorkel.  I was terrified!  Now, I just jump into it.  The sawzall is your number-one artistic tool for sheet-metal mods!

Once it's dented and/or scratched you may as well just cut it anyway. I mean, there's less material to get damaged, right??? ::)
