I have a 4 door 5 speed 16 valve Sidekick with 30x9.5's on 15x8 rims with the stock 5.12 diff gears and stock t-case gears. It's not horrible to drive around town or on the freeway. You will need to drop down into 4th or in some cases 3rd for those steep mountain passes. Off road it's best described as adequate. Expect to ride the clutch a bit more too in rugged terrain. I'm not entirely satisfied with this setup because I thought that going up to 30's instead of 31's or 32's I wouldn't need to regear. Well, I don't NEED to but it's not as enjoyable on tough trails. I can see myself shelling out some dough for a 4.24:1 transfer case gearset in the future along with some 31 or 32" tires.
