As for thread count, it is a metric bolt. I do not know the metric size but it is close to 1/4x20. That is a quarter inch bolt with coarse threads. And as for the length, it can be too long as the extra length will be behind the mount out of the way.

Thanks guys,I'll see what i can find at the hardware store..Still not sure on how much length i need to set it to proper hight,I assume at the point right before i feel i need to apply more pressure on the pedal to push it down with my hand...
