Installing Emu lift
« on: November 06, 2004, 12:56:20 PM »
I am probably going to be getting the 2 inch EMU lift from Rocky Road for my 01.  From reading about installing it on an X-90 I think I can handle the install.  Can anyone comment on any tricky parts of the install?   How quick is Rocky-road with shipping of orders?

I don't know about the install, but I waited 3 1/2-4 weeks for a pair of front coil spacers that were in stock!
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...

The instal took me a day with tools in my drive way. There is no need to take the tie rod off btw. ;D

The only issue with mine is that the inside diameter of the spacers was too small...had to sand them out. before they'd fit

I don't know why EMU didn't make the springs an inch longer...seems a better solution to me...
