finally got the new tires and wheels installed, and herculined the lower body for some everyday protection.

That is a nice looking Blue.
But take a pic when the sun is on the same side.
All I see is Blackness

Is that the roll on Herculiner? How does it hold up? I was wanting to try some but I dont want it to look like crap. Yours looks good

Yeah thats the roll on stuff. This is the second vehicle I've used it on ('91 trooper was first) The stuff works great and holds up real well. Prepping needs to be done very well and it fades in the sun but hitting it with armor all brings the deep black back. Protects from chips and salt very well and if you put it on thick enough 1/16 in. its bullet proof. Basically cheap and good lookin project anybody can do, just don't get carried away on the hood etc. or you could trap alot of heat.
