samurai tranny question???
« on: April 20, 2007, 06:31:26 PM »
I have a 90 samurai and just recently started to have problems shifting it into first gear.  It will not shift into first when i am rolling with the clutch pushed in.  Ive tried adjusting the clutch but no luck.  All other gears shift perfect.  the clutch is a centerforce and it is fairly new.  The only time i can shift into first is when im at a complete stop.  Is my tranny shot?  Ive driven it like this for a few months and it hasnt gotten any worse.  Just figured id ask before i buy.  thanks guys

Have you tried double clutching? I never used first gear unless I was at a complete stop....
