Well after months of planning and saving i finaly managed to get my sidekick lowered 20s put on and new paint job. I'll walk through what it took to lower the car incase there are any other zuks out there wanting to follow.
here is what i started out with stock
THis is after i put 20s on and it went to the paint shop
I purchased my lowering kit form drivewire it consisted of b&g springs and a intrax camber kit total cost 239 shipped to my door
here is comparsion of the stock spring to the new one
as you can see from the photo it is about a inch shorter so it will give it a 2 inch drop when compressed.
The rear is reallu simple all it takes it unhook the shock at the axle end jack up from a point on the frame and it will drop the axle enough to pull the springs out. Replace with new spring and bolt back up shocks. The front is just as simple but requires more parts to be removed. THe first is the tire to gain access to the lower strut bolts remover both of them. Next you need to remove the clip holding the brake line so it will drop with the controll arm. And finaly the stablizer bolt on the bottom of the a arm need to be removed and it will drop low enough to pull the coil. here is a picture show what it looks like.
I measure all the point of the car to see if it was a true 2 inch drop and the front before was 25 from ground up to top of bumper after drop it was 23
here is a photo measureing top of tire to fender before
