Sorry if this is a repost: transer ratios
« on: January 22, 2005, 11:18:00 PM »
does anyone know a previous post or link which documents the transfer gear ratios for vits/kicks?

i just found out that a 3 door auto transfer is an ideal bolt on to a 5 speed manual. now the 3 speed apparently has lower gearing (i dont know why) so it can be a good option if you need/want to run 33"-35" tyres.

is this true? and are the 3spd transfers rare?

thanks

No to my knowledge, I think all
T-cases are 1.82:1 or there abouts,
the rock crawler sets are 4.24:1 and
require a 91 or later case to fit.
