Samurai rescues Hummer!
« on: January 23, 2005, 04:56:13 PM »
Followed some rigs down the powerline trail to the mud holes. Toyotas and Big Fords. Figured they could pull me out if I got stuck.

Down to mud holes I saw the ass end of a Hummer stuck up to his doors in the slime pit. Saw a samurai zip through an axel deep bypass so I followed, figured to get a better view of the stupid hummer trick.

Damned if the Samurai I followed didn't tie off and start winching the Hummer out.  They had to give the Hummer guy some driving advice before they got him out of the hole. But they got him out.

There was a lot laughter, head shaking, and video.

That little sammie hooked up nose to nose with that mud painted hummer was priceless.

Some pictures here:

I was driving home the other day and saw some dork with an H2 'trying' to pull a car out of the ditch on our main highway...it was very icy....well the guy hooked up the strap, backed up right into the passing lane, no 4way flashers...started spinning his tires on the ice...got out to take a look (H2 still in the passing lane still no 4ways and now now reverse lights either) two minutes later I heard on the radio that he got hit...
