 Code 0440 or p0440 is fuel tank vent system- above limit. no change to fuel mixture is seen
when purge valve from canister is opened.If this fault returns pm me and i can give you more
info for diagnosis.

Thanks FNG!!!! So far I've put about 300 miles on it since and it still hasn't returned.
2000 Grand Vitara Limited, 2" lift, 225/75-16 BFG KO's, 5.12 gears, Safari snorkel, roof rack.
1987 Samurai LWB, VW 1.9 Turbo Diesel.

Thats good because canister faults can be a pain to find.Was it siting for a while before you bought it?That can cause faults with solenoids sometimes.Hopefully the fault will not return

I'm not sure, it was on a car lot. It came on after about 100 miles.
