is it, "T-case goes into 4wd, but front tires aren't pulling", or "won't shift into 4wd at all"?

Sounds like the problem i had with my tracker win i first got it id regrease ur hubs first easy to do
a couple of sockets and a allan key in like 8mm i think id clean with degreaser and some WD40  too and use a old tooth brush if u dont have a wire one that will fit in the space needen cleenen then just get a tub of valvoline uneversal grease.

Yeah, sounds like your hubs aren't engaging right, probably stuck. When you lock the hubs in and leave the tcase in 2wd, engine off, parked with the brake on, reach under the front end and try to turn by hand each front cv shaft. neither should be able to turn, but if one or both does, then that's the hub that needs cleaned out and relubed...

lock them in, tap them with a BFH and see if the break loose.  Sometimes that works, other times you just need to take them apart and clean them really well (which would be a good idea either way).
