If anyone who lives where the plastic spare tire "hub caps" came on the spares of GV's/Vits/XL7's/etc could get me their part number, I'd appreciate it.  Sounds like Europe, Australia, NZ, and others...but not North America.  Here's where I first became aware of it:

The stock vinyl spare cover no longer fits our spare with the 225/75R16 mud tire on there so I'm looking to replace it with something different.  I'd love to get one of these for the different look here in the States.  However the part number sergi mentions in the above link doesn't seem to be a valid part number.  The Suzuki parts guy I talked to here in Michigan said it isn't even the right configuration to be a Suzuki part number.  Could anyone get it for me?  Also, if there's other peices necessary to mount it, could you get those part numbers too?

Really don't want to have to use one of the generic Heep ones all the Heepers around here use.

it was 2 part numbers that was gold, but the part numbers said biege i don't think beige will look good on you'r car, so i did'nt ask.

I was thinking silver too.  However I realized I need the mount for the thing too so I'll have to see what $$$ the dealer says, if they can even get it.  There's a guy on Ebay that's making what is basically an enlarged version of the stock vinyl cover so it fits over bigger tires.  I might just go that route.

Eh, dammit.  Turns out you can't get that part here in the States.  Oh well.  I doubt it would have been cheap to get anyway.  I think I'll just pick up some kind of vinyl tire cover.  There's a guy on Ebay in Brazil that sells OEM look-a-likes but in bigger sizes for larger tires.

i GV owner i Norway purchased the US style rear bumper, (arter the wife had smashed GV in an other car) he even got it at 2/3's of the price of the original bumper!

Eh, I'm not that worked up about it.  It may be possible to get it here but it's seeming like to much work for me.  The local Suzuki dealership that we bought our GV from in '05 closed about 3 months ago so the nearest Suzuki dealership is 3 hours worth of driving away.  Meanwhile most Suzuki dealerships up here are side dealerships of bigger GM, Ford, or Chyrsler dealerships so there rarely are any dedicated "Suzuki people".  Makes it hard to get help with stuff or knowledgeable advice.   I can get better info from you guys on the forums than I can get from any of the Suzuki dealerships in Michigan that I've talked to.  Ahh, the pleasures of living at the edge of civilization...

You could try Puerto Rico. Their site says, "...clients can rely on Suzuki’s Emergency Two-Day System which can deliver parts to Puerto Rico from the United States, Canada, Barbados or Japan." They should be able to get anything.
