I have a "Blown"1600 16V motor on my 96 SideKick 4x. Over the weekend I found a 97 1800 twin cam SideKick 4x. The 97 Kick. was hit in the front but all power train is fine. Who know what fits what? Love to bolt in the 1800 if it can be done. Thanx

The 1.8 is the same as the 2.0 so if you do a search you should find what is required to swap it in as it has been discussed.

Is it? IIRC Eric fitted a 1.8 into a 1.6 without too many problems. The 2ltr needs a custom flywheel.

Are you sure? I've bolted a 1.8 DOHC which is essentially the same as a 2.0 DOHC to a 1.6 transmission. It was a direct bolt up. Same clutch was used (cable actuated from the 1.6 transmission).
