Air filter will help a little bit.

Exaust/headers will also help, but they will cost a bit more and won't add alot of power, well at least I didin't notice alot of change.

Try a bottle of prolong with some new oil (10-30 wt) with a napa filter 91516 filter is a ford v-6 3.0 goes on like it belongs there and is alot longer so more filter area, 2" exhaust pipe and a magna flow muffler will help alot.mine was about 220.00 installed.

My Cone was like 20ish, I wouldn't spend much more than that on one

I'd get a K&N, AEM, INJEN cone or whatever as long as it's the cotton gauze. some of the less expensive filters have a woven pattern that expands when wet and lets little holes in the filter.. so you would not be able to clean it. the less expensive ones that don't do that are fine but you'll get more flow out of an actual gauze one and it will likely last longer and filter out more stuff. Also, making a shield to keep the hot air away from the cone will probably help a little bit

good luck
