Tracky in all her glory awaiting another hunting season
« on: April 10, 2006, 04:55:57 PM »
Here's a couple of pics of my tracker.  Ready for another good hunting season.  I plan on a 3" body lift, suspension lift and new tires.  It would also be nice to get 'er street legal again.   ;D  Enjoy.

I was just wondering because i am a hunter and fisherman also. Of course here in Michigan a zillion people hunt. Actually, i even guide on the side. Just traditional bowhunts and fly-fishing though.

I prefer bowhunting, but I rifle hunt a lot too.  This little rig has hauled a few out of the woods for me and my deer lease buddies.  When I found this rig I was looking for a 4 wheeler.  I found this Tracker, it was cheaper than any used 4 wheeler, and it had a radio.  Anyway it was blue, but after $6 worth of paint at Wal-Mart, here ya go.  I can't wait to do the mods on this thing.  I just need the time and $$$.

Cool. I used mine last season for the first time as a hunting vehicle.  Even spent the night in it once. Here is a picture of the first buck it carried out of the woods for me. I was worried the roof would cave in so i went real slow over the bumps.  :-\

I gotta ask, how do you get a deer out of the woods with a 2 door soft top Tracker? ???

Drag it on a sled like with an ATV?

I'm just curious now that I think about it. :P

I would hang mine "hog tied" and tied to my pre-runner winch bumper. My fiernd would just put his in the back of his trooper (no carpet) and then just wash it out when he got home.

I always run mine with the top off and the rear seat folded forward and just pile 'em in the back.  Since then I have removed the rear seat and removed all the carpet in the back.

By the way, that is a good buck Shredder.

thats EXACTLY what I was thinking!
I know those things can handle quite a bit.

What the heaviest thing you put on that rack and how did it affect driving?
(I know the max load but what did you PUT on it)

Is there a resemblance or am I cRaZy?  ???

Texrok:  I like the paint job and the space saver spare tire.  ;)  I also took the carpet out of the whole rig.  That's why they have drain plugs, right!

95XL7:  That is what I'm talking about for hauling stuff.  I'm making one to go on the back of the camp trailer and then I can use it on the 'Kick when I need it.

Yeah, I kinda blew a tire last time I was at the deer lease.  I plan on getting bigger tires so I have not replaced that one yet. ;D
