Clutch problems?
« on: November 16, 2005, 04:49:11 PM »
With the 1.6 swap I did a new clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing and re-surfaced the fly wheel.

Made it to work today and had no clutch when I got to my parking spot? I made it home with no clutch, if I push the pedal you can hear the rpm's go up like it's working but you can't put it in gear? ( the cable isn't broken and I tried adjusting it in the parking lot but didn't help)

What else is there to go wrong, that you can't engage or dis-engage the clutch?

IF YOU CAN'T FIND'EM        GRIND'EM  :( :( :( :(

 Steve :)
When this thing hits 88 MPH your gonna see some serious sh!t (hahaha)

did you make sure the shift fork was sitting on the throw out bearing the right way - sometimes they can not sit right and wont release the clutch 100%

have someone push the clutch while you look underneath to check the cable. had one start to fray inside made the pedal feel funny.
