ummm,  ok, I'll stick to my IFS and Coils (something I understand) Any close up's of how it travels with the shackle in a streight line with the spring? I know nothing about "missing links" there fore never saw one set up like that. Educate me please.

i know what they are and what they do but explaining is might be hard but here goes.

it lets the rear of the spring(on the black tracker) droop farther(sp?) down

here is the best pic i can find:

hope it makes sence(YEA RIGHT!)

That does make sence. What I was wonderinng about is the position of the rear shakle. the line it is in at ride height seem like it would hav a very harsh ride (no side to side swing of the bottom of the shakle while the spring is bending, Just Spring bendage. With a standard leaf set up we had to re mount some that were lined up like that. When we remounted it where the shakel was more out of line with the spring (like the front one on this Kick) it wrode 100% better.

Zig,
He just upgraded his springs which caused shackle location problems.  Those shackles indeed aren't setup correctly.
(good eyes)

He plans on moving his missing lnks around which will correct the shackle angle because as you stated, any down travel won't swing the shackle any further, but begin to bend at the spring.  (harsh)

1) Yes 35x13.5x15

2) Don't think so. We'll be picking the truck up today, and we'll get to see a closer look at them.

3) See the first page of this thread.  ;)

What, you don't think there's such a thing as a Dana 53?  ???

Here's a website with a J200 and a Dana 53.. this is identical to what he got the axles out of.

http://home.sprintmail.com/~mgtrautoxr/id6.html

;)

EDIT: OK, so I was corrected it's a J3000, and I'll try to find a link to one of those.

Nope, no spelling error, Dana 53 is a real rear-end.  I think it's a 9.25" ring gear too.
