Hey
You should flip that strut blade on the other side of the body, just pop the studs out, if you leave it like that it could crush the flange and eventually either come loose or it will put a nasty twisting moment about your strut (aka lateral forces) which are bad and could cause your strut to fail. just figured you might like to know.  :-/  The possiblity of this is probably small but its good to keep things safe as you never know who's gonna be in the truck with ya.   Nice skid though.

I thought that was the orientation that was needed to get the benfit of flipping the mount? (to mount that way the studs already had to come out)

To keep the flange from crushing, I used some washers to act as spacers.

That pic is small so I might not be seeing it properly.

i should have taken pics of the install i made a backing plate to go between the strut tower and the stut mount it is pretty safe. but things can always go wrong. however i do try to keep it safe as possible this is my co-pilot.

What are you calling the "strut blade"?  And "other side of the body"?
