?n road behavior ....??
« on: March 06, 2006, 01:22:10 AM »
How is the on road behavior of the new GV compares to the previous model ???

Have anyone tried both models ??

Does it worth to trade the previous GV 2.5 V6 (that i own ) with the new one ??

I think the on-road manners and behavior are far superior on the new GV vs. the older model. Go test drive one. I think you like it.

On the road the 4 wheel independent suspension helps it ride smoother and handle better.  Also the 2.7 V6 gives it a little more pep and the AWD is nice for mountains, snow etc.

Be aware that the locking center diff and 2spd transfer case is only available in the luxury packages, which is better (required) if you want to do much offroading.

I like that the 99-05 is a little more sturdy with the ladder frame, solid rear axle, and 2spd transfer case.  I will be keeping my 2002, but if you want a grocery getter the 2006 would be nicer for you.
2002 4DR Tracker V6 ZR2.... 1.5"/2" coil spacers front/rear, BDS Strut Extensions, 235/75R15 Cooper STT... They ROCK!!!
