Does anyone know if Tracker and Sammy side gears (inside the carrier) the same?

My experience with them is no.
The tracker gears have a lip around the edge, that the sammy gears don't have.
For a stock diff I think they would interchange, but with a locker you have to have the ones the locker was made for, or they don't mesh good.

This is true sometimes but some are exactly the same. Most 89-95 sidekick and tracker have webbing around the edge and should not be used with a locker.
