ok my 92 kick I want to lift 2 inches (coil spacers) will be replaced with 2 inch longer springs running 235/75/15 mudders (cheapest ones)
I do want a locker in the rear
and OME struts up front
Questions
1) are my brake lines long enough
2) what rubbing will I have
3) the guys with lockers on rear air is expensive but full time locker grab on the street .....is there a medium?
4) lastly .....did i miss anything?

Brke lines are fine, if you do a 3in body lift you have to move the driver side one down.
If the mud tires are on stock rims the only rubbing i would expect would be on the frame a little bit but i'm not sure, you might need to trim the body
There are limited slips for the rear(i think?) but i don't know anyone who runs them. they are more expencive(sp) and you don't get as much traction with one as you would with a locker. a locker in the rear isn't that bad.
as you what your missing thats up to you. seens like you have a basic p,an to build a cheap wheelin tracker. It should go many places. If your into rock crawlin then some t-case gears would be a good investment.
Mabey some bumpers?
a small body lift if the tires don't clear all the way?

Add some longer rear shocks too, and consider a rear diff spacer. A search back through the forum will bring up a load of info on this subject. OME struts are good but if this is a budget lift (you are using spacers) a cheaper option is a pair of strut spacers.

235/75/15 mudders (cheapest ones)
Take a look at http://www.high-tec-retreading.com/. I have a set in that size on my Tracker. I love them and they were cheap. I have about 4000 miles on them and have taken them wheeling a few times.

I would add the body lift, as stu mentioned, but only a 2in. If you want longer shocks, use ones meant for a Ford >:( Crown Vic. Very cheap, very good 235's would be a Dunlop Mud Rover. Check out www.tirerack.com before you retread.

I ran 235/ 75/ 15s/ AT tires on my Tracker with no lift and then added 2" body lift. The tires didnt have any problem on stock alloy wheels either way. They barely rubbed on the passenger side before I lifted the body on absolute hard over to the right steering, and now no rub. They actually measure 29 inches in diameter with about 7" of tread width. With the 2" lift I could go to 30" diameter by about 8" of tread width and probably would not rub, or only a little.
Had a real hard time with that drivers side besky brake line on my lift cuz the mount was corroded and it was hard to get it realesed. Had to spray it for days with PB blaster (thanks to tips on this forum) to get it loose. did the lift with not problem after that. Reattached the brake line to the mount after the lift and it is fine now.
I am wheelin off road quite well with the 235's in dry sand and wet sand and slippery but shallow mud. Even do well in deep jeep track ruts. I ride cross country in open fields with obstacles, brush, ruts, holes, swampy sections, sandy mud, No locker or other add ons and have a real hard time getting stuck. And again I am on 235 AT's which are minimally aggressive tread!
In fact I am amazed at what this little Tracker can do compared to the jeeps I've had in the past!
Thinking myself of going to 30" or 31" mud terrains or more agggressive All Terrains with spacer lifts just to get a little more clearance. 1 1/2 spacer and about an inch more of tire would total about 2 full inches of extra clearance. I am already clearing everything I want to clear so the added would just be insurance.
Keep in mind I am wheeling in Central Florida so your conditions will be different.
I think a good locker would be a great add on!

Finally somone gives a good description of there kind of wheeling. Let this be a lesson to everyone. If you are asking a question about vehicle set up, please list your type of wheeling. It will make it much easier to anwer your question.

I was really careful with the plasma cutter and just made a slit below the brake line and slid it down, that would work btter with a cut off wheel or a sawzall. thats a cheap/getto way of doing it.

i have never had a "locker" in any of my trucks(we either build them for trail use or for a show only) but i think i speek for everyone when i say that they work just fine. you have to ajust your driving style a little but it should be ok. ask Speedracer7c, he just put one in last weekend and he'll give you some good info about it.

drive shaft spacer?

You'll get used to the jerking. Keep your passengers from freaking out by letting them know that it is supposed to do that.
