Limited-Production 'Suzuki Works Techno' Aerio SX Edition Now Available for Trend-seeking Buyers
Suzuki Aerio SX SWT Editions Inspired by Strong Dealer Demand
BREA, Calif. (April 1, 2005) - American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC) today announced that strong dealer demand and popular appeal of the Aerio SX in video games has prompted a limited-production "Suzuki Works Techno" (SWT) Aerio SX edition of its stylish sport crossover vehicle. While previously displayed only on Suzuki concept vehicles, the distinctive "tuner" elements of the SWT Aerio SX package are now available at select Suzuki dealerships nationwide as a limited-production vehicle designed specifically for sports-oriented consumers and integrated with features to create a more personalized vehicle. The Aerio SX SWT follows the introduction of the Reno LX SWT edition, which hit select Suzuki dealership showrooms last month.
Beginning today, the limited-production Suzuki Aerio SX SWT vehicle in Techno Blue Metallic and Racy Red is offered at $600 MSRP above the already well-equipped 2005 Aerio SX models, which has a base starting price of $15,449.
"Our customers responded enthusiastically to the SWT concept we showcased last year because it featured all of the unique accessories they want to see on their own cars," said Gary Sherfey, accessories sales and marketing manager, ASMC. "The new Aerio SX SWT edition allows our customers to express their automotive individuality and achieve a highly customized look - at a very reasonable price."
The Suzuki Aerio SX SWT edition features:
- Carbon Fiber-styled Body Graphics - Distinctive "tuner" style graphic that sets the Aerio SWT apart from the rest; includes SWT door logos
Carbon Fiber B-pillar and Rear License Plate Trim - Carbon fiber that is thematic of the SWT package
Carbon Fiber Rear Bumper Protector - Assists in avoiding bumper paint damage when accessing personal gear in the trunk
SWT Floor Mats - Custom designed for the Aerio SX, these high-quality carpet mats are color-matched and feature an embroidered Suzuki Works Techno logo
Interior/Cup Holder Lighting - Interior lighting kit, color-matched to the dashboard lighting and illuminates front footwell areas and front cup holders; cycle switch allows for either footwell lighting or cup holders lighting
Carbon Fiber-style Headlight and Rear License Plate Surrounding Enhancements - Outlines the headlights and license plate to further stylize the SWT Aerio SX with the carbon fiber theme
In addition to the Aerio SX SWT edition features, dealers can easily and quickly install the following SWT options:
Chrome Alloy Wheels
Gunmetal Gray Alloy Wheels
Rally Racing-inspired White Alloy Wheels
Additional SWT products are in development and will be available through select American Suzuki dealerships throughout 2005. Most packages will have variations from vehicle to vehicle and future plans call for themed packages for each model year vehicle to maximize the appeal of Suzuki cars and SUVs.
The introduction of SWT packages complements the automaker's significantly expanding product line. In the last two years, Suzuki has launched four all-new production vehicles: the premium compact Forenza sedan, stylish midsize Verona sedan, five-door Reno and versatile Forenza Wagon. In addition to these models the diverse product line also includes the sporty Aerio SX and Aerio sedan plus two- and four-wheel drive versions of the Grand Vitara and XL-7 SUVs. I just noticed those the other day. They also have a nice looking version of the Reno. Those Aerios are some nice cars though. You can even get an AWD on them.

Fancy name but no increase in H.P.?? Nice gimmick.
But when the other manufacturers put SVT or SI or STi,etc on there cars they bump the horsepower! >:(

By the way, I like the aerio just the way it is,the AWD sx wagon is nice looking,two things i don't care for is the seats and dash board layout. they need to bump HP to around 170 from 155.
