There ya go! I used a cut off wheel, and sliced down the inside, and took a sledge and persuaded it back a little.  ;D Then I covered the big holes w/ screen and used silicon to plug the holes. Worked out pretty well, and I still have JUST enough leftto push the clutch down and start the kick!

I hammered my firewall back and managed to fit 33's with a 3" BL. Was able to steer lock to lock and drive it down the road without rubbing, but I'm sure if I cycled the suspsension much, it would've rubbed.

I took a big rubber mallet to mine. I didnt cut at all. I had to raise my clutch pedal and readjust the linkage though.

I Would Have Used Seam Sealer, Would Work Better Than Sily-Cone. Seam Sealer Is Bought In A Caulking Tube As Well, It's Used On All Manufactured Vehicles It's Paintable, AND It's Like $5 A Tube - It's Not Too Late!!

Sorry if this is a Hi-Jack, but I posted a sort of similar question before with not much response...
Zig, what did you used to cut your fenders, that looks really good.  Do you think a 3" BL and trimming fenders like yours would help clear 31's ?

Here's the problem.

I don't give a f*** if it looks like shit!!!!!!!  8)

I need to fill a couple small holes, and water still leaks in there, but that's why I took the carpet out and have body plugs for!

I didn't say "look" I said "work", silicone will pull away and leak and cause rot. IMO

I used a cut-off wheel and a sawsall (sawsall  for the majority and the wheel to clean it up) then  I used the same weapons to cut out the relpacement sheet metal and then cleaned it up with a bench grinder (after bending it to shape)
