Greetings all! It's been a long time, but I finally picked up a rust free 2001 JLX to replace my 02 XL7. I intend to use the XL7 as a donor vehicle, primarily swapping the 2.0 in favor of the 2.7. Donor is a 5 speed manual, recipient is a 4 spd auto which I'd like to retain. I know I'll need an ECU for 2.7 A/T, but will the existing automatic trans in the Vitara accept the 2.7 V6? Both vehicles are 4wd. Thanks. Otis.
