Just bought this 91 Jimny. It was imported from Japan and I’m located on Guam.
It’s a JA11 with the F6A engine- 3 cylinder turbo. 5 speed manual. Manual everything lol. Very good condition. Rust on the fenders and really no where else.
I’ve wanted one for a long time. Now it’s time to get going on a build.
Dropped it off with my mechanic (yes, most of the work will be done by my mechanic cause he’s really good at what he does and I’m not).
He’s changing fluids and giving some attention to a wheel bearing. Then I’m starting with interior and rust protection:
New seat upholstery, taking out carpet, new panels. Bed liner on floor and undercarriage.
I’m shopping around for lift options; but leaning towards RRO’s JP Eater combo kit and YJ springs.
