Title: Buying advice

Hello, I am thinking of jumping into zuki land and was wondering if you could give me advice I should look for when buying Samurai.... the link below is the Samurai I am checking out tomorrow. It looks like it has the 8v engine in it, and after talking with the seller it sounds like they kept the carb instead of switching to the fuel injected throttle body. This doesn't seem normal, but is what it is.

Are there any frequent problems or issues I should be double checking when test driving?

That looks like it's been fitted with a weber carb - they have a tendency to flood on steep inclines.  I can't think of any other Samurai specific issues, just remember you're buying a thrity year old vehicle which may or may not have had remedial work done - if it hasn't you can expect rust, worn tired suspension etc.
