Title: Is there a "best" timing chain kit for the 2.5 V6?

Hi. Is there a timing chain kit that is considered better quality than the typical ebay item? For a 2000 GV 2.5. Thanks.

Is there such a thing as the "typical ebay item"?
What would you consider to be the "typical ebay item"?

For me, and I've been an ebay shopper for almost two decades, every ebay vendor needs to be considered as an unknown individual, selling a product of unknown origin and quality - there is nothing typical about any of them.

There are certainly better quality timing kits than "products of unknown origin and quality", OEM Suzuki parts (Suzuki calls them SGP or Suzuki Genuine Parts) are of known quality and origin, and I'm pretty certain they are still available, Suzuki is still selling vehicles with H series V6 engines and as far as I know, they all use the same timing components.

You may be reluctant to pay SGP pricing, so try Rockauto.com - they will typically have "brand name" aftermarket parts, at lower prices than SGP.
