Title: SUZUKI SAMARI CLUTCH CHANGE

   NEED TO REPLACE CLUTCH ....IS IT EASIER TO REMOVE THE ENGINE TO DO THIS  ???????

I would say no.  For me, it's been far easier to remove the transmission, instead.  If the transmission has never been removed, with the engine still installed, you'll need to put a small notch in the frame cross member, to clear the  tail housing on the transmission.  The notch will give just enough room to pull the transmission back far enough, for the input shaft to clear the pressure plate.  I think a search will give you a picture of how big a notch you need.  A small "V" cut in the cross member flange metal is all you need.
