Title: GV Diff Swap

 OK, I am sure this is been discussed on here before. I have read online about the possibility of installing a steel front diff of a Grand Vitara into my 02, 2 door Vitara.
 Now of course if you just ask the guy at the auto salvage he will say no they do not interchange.  But we were able to confirm that I do have the same gear ratio. What is involved in putting the GV front diff into my little two door?

It depends on what year Grand Vitara - there are two different styles of third member mount - make sure you get the matching mount and it should be a bolt up affair.

Well, I'm looking at the 04/05 GV diff. My Vitara is an 02. Will it slide right in?

The third member mount will be different, so make sure you get the mount as well.
