What size tires would fit on a 91 samurai that has a 3.5 inch calmini Lift?

3" springs & 1" longer shackle?
30"-31" tire.

31x10.50?
Will modifications need to be done to reduce rubbing?
If not will tire spacers effect this at all?

My suggestion is to consider not only what tire would fit with your lift, but also what tire diameter would most benefit your intended use. The most obvious to me, is your Sammi used as a DD, and do you drive on the highway where you will encounter hills. This would be followed by what do you have for gearing, and do you want to drive over 50 to 60 MPH on flat ground.
As to what would fit, I think you would be pretty safe with 30 or 31s. I will also say, I think your 1.3 EFI would prefer the 30s. I have had both, and now have the 30x9.5x15. I DD (typically 60 to 70 MPH) and recently ran the Rubicon without needing a winch or strap. The 30s are much lighter, requiring less HP, and the smaller diameter works better with the gearing. I do have a 4:1 t-case.

30's or 31x10.5 sound right.They even make a 29" tire!!

is your sami geared at the axles also? i just bought one with spoa and 30" and she is a dog on the highway,like hard to keep it at 60. need to solve so i can DD on highway to work about 15mi. do i gear TC or axles,or both

Mine has 4:1 t-case gears only. I am not geared at the axles. I have considered R&P, but really think it would be too low geared.
My '91 1.3, EFI is totally stock. Stock exhaust. I have lots of armor, and weigh 2800 pounds. With the exception of hills, it does just find. On hills, long and/or steep, it will lug down pretty quick. It was much worse with the 31's, and I think that was due to larger diameter and more weight per tire. With the 30s and 4:1 gears, on flat ground I have no problem running 75 to 80 MPH (GPS) in 5th gear. If I hit a strong head wind, it is like going up a hill. It is seldom I run over 60 to 70, simply due to short wheel base and my comfort level.
Don't misunderstand, my Zuk is no powerhouse at all. The only complaint I have is it's lack of power.

cool thanks.mine is a 93 with a header and supposedly a cam,just wanna be able to keep up with the traffic at 65. it is mostly flat,so i guess gear the TC is first on the list
