Well yesterday I decided to finally start my camo paint job on the sami. After much reasearch, I noticed less is more when you do one of these jobs. Here are some pics of the job. I should be done tonight.

nice one!
So you 'masked' the different colors?
-mine was freehand; only masked what was not to be painted at all; ie, under hood, tires, glass, etc...
-
Yes, I masked every different color, and pattern. Including the black predator stripes. I'm a painter by trade, so using a masking gun is very quick for me. The entire project, including sanding and primer took about 7 hours.

Nice Vette... and the Sammi ain't bad either....

anyone know where I can get some snow camo seat covers???
-
There are a lot of snow leopard ones on Ebay.

Cool paint job, man 8) I dig it.

Very tasteful, yes less is more. I'm a painter myself but I only paint F/A-18 Hornets in the navy now. We just started an 8 color show bird for my command.

Thanks for the kind words fellas. I got this in feb. and last weekend my son and I took it camping for the first time in the mountains. I absolutely fell in love with this machine. We put 120 miles on it in 4 days, and couldn't believe the gas mileage. 22.5 m.p.g. That's all dirt roads and trails. While drinkingcocktails by the campfire I came up with this design, and couldn't wait to get back and fix her up. I changed all the oils, fixed the high idle, painted, and threw a stereo in her. I really hated not having any music while cruising the dirt roads.
I now see why you guys all love these samurai's so much.

Very cool and different. Although it does look like it says UK on the side

This has to be my favorite "camo" paint job. Very nicely done.
