Title: 1987 samurai 5 speed trans problem helpppppp!!!!!!

ok so my sami will not go in to any gear with the motor on or off have no clue what it wrong pls help?

how sloppy is your shifter? I'd guess either a worn out/broken shifter+sheet(bushing) or something internal broken. Pull the shift lever and check it out.

it will go side to side but around 3rd and 4th gear it catches on something also i dont really kno what to look for

ok so i got it to go into gear but when i let off the clutch it doesn't move
