Searched for weeks to learn about the 22r conversion and looked for kits to do the swap. A buddy of mine sent the link for a 22r swap kit for a samurai. All the info unlearned lead to there not being a kit available but I guess there is.
This is the link http://zukiengines.com/store/#ecwid:category=696706&mode=product&product=3045298 (http://zukiengines.com/store/#ecwid:category=696706&mode=product&product=3045298)
I will be buying it in few weeks so I will let you guys know how it works out.

Zack Lee posts a lot of cool engine tech/rebuild stuff on Facebook. His work seems to be top notch.
I would like to see this kit with an engine installed though to see how it the entire package fits in a Samurai. The old 4-cyl Toyota engines are great in terms of reliability. Not a whole lot of power, but steady as she goes-just a larger version of a Suzuki engine. ;)
