Title: My First Zuk!! Plus a minor question
Post by: enigmaticmindx on June 10, 2012, 10:24:04 PM
This may be a dumb question, but i recently purchased an 87 samurai and the odometer has about 98k on it. I got thinking and realized that there is no way to tell if it was 198k because there isn't a hundreds spot..  Is there anyway to tell this other than guessing by the overall condition of the motor and vehicle?

It is in really nice condition, it's my first zuk and i'm excited as hell!  Here's some pics

It doesn't matter what the mileage is. Are you having Fun?

More than likely, I would guess, 100K Plus.

In your pictures, it looks like the rear quarters have been replaced. The Sides do not have the wheel opening arch that the front has. Also, diamond plate rockers... Probably been patched or covered up.

I hope you don't take any of that the wrong way, I'm just pointing out what I see and think. ;)

Looks like a great Zuke. Stop worrying about the mileage. If it runs and drives well . Just enjoy....
Repaint / front and rear flair deletet / 2" shackle lift / scrubers....All good for a first Sammy.....Boxcar...
