Hey ya'll this is my tracker project here. '96 2wd 5spd for less than a grand. Only problems came with was: speedometer not working, bad clutch and torn soft top. Over the years, this tracker has been dropped to the floor as a low rider, taken to the track for 1/4 mile runs (low 17's with modded intake and exhaust), lifted back up to drive daily, and recently just running around the florida mud and bumpy terrain. Been a great daily driver but it was time to make it one of a kind. Purchased a set of 35x15.5x15 for $200 with rims from a local guy and designed the lift from there. my computer is retarded and has the pictures in a random order so here's a pic of the recent work...still not finished yet:

Does the odomoter work? The 96's have a habit of breaking the speedometer needle.

yeah actually the needle and sensor are broken. Came like that when i got it. Basically a backyard cheap budget build. Did a fame chop-drop and extended the front 4 inches to accomodate the front tires and the turning radius. I'm now in the process of extending the trailing arms, rotating rear axle, and shortening the length of the driveshaft. The rear setup is cherokee coil springs with lifted/relocated spring perches and '89 4x4 ford f150 shocks. I'm looking for a cheap locker for the rear and a samurai t-case to do the doubler project.

Heck, just toss a spool in there. :)

i was considering one but this is also my daily driver

here are some updated pictures of the finished project; Hulk Jr

on my list of things to continue the project are:
quadratec winch
lock rite locker for the rear
front axle (stock)
diff drop in the front to accommodate some spacers for the explorer springs and level the front
otherwise the rig does pretty well in the florida mud. took it out last night into bog where the mud was halfway up my 36's in the rear and still didn't get stuck. Eventually I would like to do the 4.3 vortec swap to get some more power.
If ya'll got any suggestions for improvements or hints, lemme know. Still kinda new to the scene but like being creative and working with my hands.
