Title: Recommend a 1.3L rebuild kit
Post by: zukmon on December 03, 2011, 11:26:27 PM
Who makes the best quality 1.3l engine rebuild kits? Some higher comp pistons would be nice. I already have a rebuilt head with the Hawk billet torquer cam and plan on adding the My Side cab kit and a header. It's time to get my Samurai back out on the road. I have the entire drive train from a Toyota but keeping it Suzuki will be a quicker build.

If you have to have it bored, don't go with a .030 kit. I got one for mine from lowrange and have got a problem with my rings. I'm not saying it was their fault but when I called back to get another set of rings they said they don't carry .30 rings. Make me wonder what rings I got with mine. Their .20 and .040 rings are $40 a set, the only place the guy from lowrange could find me a set were $139. Luckily my machine shop found me a set for $80. Well lets go pull an engine.
