So I had to take apart my rear diff and am replacing the lock-rite locker with a mini spool. While taking it apart I noticed the bearing on the carrier on the front side of the ring gear can slide off. Is this a common (normal) thing or should it have to press on and off. The one on the backside is solid and stays on so I'd imagine I'd have to use a puller to get it off. I just figured they both would be the same. I have the FSM and the pictures all show using a puller on the one that's stuck on there but says "Both Sides" My next question is for anyone who has put a mini spool in. I ordered a trail gear one and when I go to put the cross pins in the one hole off quite a bit 1/16". Has anyone had this issue? I'm thinking of sending it back and re ordering one from trail tough. I don't really want to grind it out that much and make the hole that sloppy. Any ideas?

Do you mean the pinion bearing? The one on the end of the pinion (where the driveshaft flange goes on), will slide on and off. The inner pinion bearing (the one closest to the pinion gear) has to be pressed on and off.
