Title: Auto Tranny Problem

94' Tracker. Auto transmission will not shift till operating temps are up and have worked through manually shifting. It goes into neutral at the shift points and have to wait to pick up while manually shifting. Once I have gone a few blocks it will shift fine until it is parked long enough to cool down. Have changed filter and done fluid flush. Thanks for any ideas.

vacuum modulator/shift valve may be faulty.

Thanks for the replies, and will look into further. Looks like a trip to a local tranny man with a good reputation may be in order.
