Been there.  Got my first Samurai when I was 16.  It was my dad's gift as he moved away.

Honestly, I would drive it stock for now.  Especially at age 15.   8)  I did some pretty crazy stuff in mine when I was in your age.   :o   ;)

To do it right, which means gearing, steering etc, can be pretty expensive.

What tires do you plan on running? Just asking because there are several ways to lift a Zuk. Depending on your tire choice and budget it might be possible to get you there and leave some jingle behind in your pocket.....  ;)

31-33's whichever i can find cheapest. i got the front axle out last night. will hopefully have it back in tonight. what type of welder should i use to weld the new pads on top?

whatever type you can weld with that you would bank human life on. with any type chosen don't over heat the paper thin axle tubes. warping will ensue and cause various issues later.

There is a really good write-up at http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/general-suzuki-forum/basic-spoa-on-a-lwb-sj-413-using-stock-parts/ (http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/general-suzuki-forum/basic-spoa-on-a-lwb-sj-413-using-stock-parts/) when Kahn-Sultan did his own SPOA lift.  It covers most of the build similar to the link my996duc1 posted.

As for buying a setup, I recommend picking up the Sky Manufacturing State 2 kit at http://www.sky-manufacturing.com/new/detaproduct.php?id=92 (http://www.sky-manufacturing.com/new/detaproduct.php?id=92) to get started.  It gives you everything you need to get going quickly and easily.

If you just want the longer brake lines you can just get a set of front brake lines from a Geo Tracker/Suzuki Sidekick.
