I'm building a new bumper for my 87 sami, but I'm confused on how I should mount it. Can anyone send some pics or explain how you did yours?

I like your bumper 8) how about some more pictures of it, as you can see I still need to build a bumper, might have to copy yours :).
At the end of the frame rails there is four bolt holes, you will have to weld steel on the bumper that is in line with the frame, you will also have to cut a half circle out were the tubing that goes threw the frame sits. This is how I've seen most bumpers mounted. Red is the bolts going threw the frame rails, Orange is the mounting brackets welded to the bumper that sit in line with the frame rails, and Gray is the bumper. for more strength you could have brackets bolt on both sides of the frame rails insted of just one on each frame rail.

Not alot of different ways to mount a bumper on a Samurai.
Here is a step by step of how the Shrockworks bumpers install : http://www2.izook.com/?page_id=413 (http://www2.izook.com/?page_id=413)
Some people also run U-bolts around the bumper tube and the frame tube on these. Of course, I reinforced the frame tube first since it is so thin.
Here is a pic from Shrockworks website to show where the u-bolts are installed.

I made brackets that bolt through the frame as described in the IZOOK page instructions.
