While we always visit the same general area, we like to mix it up a bit and hit different attactions and change the route during the weekend. There are many cool and 'neato' things to see out there and for this year. We'll make a route based on the votes in this poll. Sounds like fun!
Please check our home page and the Travel & How To Archive for excellent feature articles that tell something about these points of interest.
Then...
If you plan on attending this year's event, please choose the top three things you'd like to see this year and we'll make a route to fit in the most popular.
Also, please feel free to pop up a suggestion of things to do and see in that general area if you see something we missed. I'll add it to the poll.
Thanks, Eric

It was tough only choosing three.

Exactly. They are all cool to visit... I have not been to Pine Mt. yet.... maybe on my next trip out :-\

Voted.
The fozen field was pretty cool but I would hate to rely on it being there. I do have the coordinates if you need them Eric.
Major Geological formations are more predicteable.
-
I tried to select them all >:D , as they all could be cool, and I haven't seen any of them
I have no idea if I'm going to be able to make the trip, work and cash permitting
I will be there if I get the trucklet back together

Have to say I didn't know I had a cave down there. So I voted for that first.
-
Voted... Very hard to choose just three!
We definitely should do some caving / spelunking... And pine mountain sounded fun on last year's exit of group A.
BTW, there have been a number of visitors to our ZW "Don't Take Our Spot!" Geocache! :)

You may be a little late to vote Davey.

Naa, it's never too late. :)
I'm working on a few sub-POI for the route and/or for night time adventures. :)
-
Davey let us know what night you are going to do that.
-
I'm pretty sure we'll be out both nights having fun! :)

Super cool on the Geocache! I've got Derrick cave in there and if all goes well Sunday we'll drive over the top of Pine Mountain again to get out...

When you send out the final email can you list the GPS coordinates of the various spots? It would be fun to pre-program them into my GPS.

Yeah, I will have something like that this year. I used to put together a big ol' package of information as a hand out but I found that (or at least it was my perception) that nobody looked at it while we were out there.

I have reset the voting from last year. Please enter your selection on what you'd like to do/see during the 2012 Fall Classic.

We always do a night drive to the middle of no where, no matter what, so we probably don't need to vote on it since all the other options are the determining factors for daily travels and such...
We could even do a split group on Fort Rock Museum and Fort Rock geological feature. I'd like to do a good hike / climb to the rim of Fort Rock... been to the location many times but never REALLY explored it.
Plus, I found a new / better entrance to crack in the ground... so we could see new parts of it... :)
