Title: GV at Portland Wrecking yard
Post by: aveatr1 on May 03, 2011, 08:10:12 AM
Hey everybody,
Went to the Pick and Pull in Tualatin ( south of Portland) they have a 99 Suzuki GV that has been rolled.  All the undercarriage is still there and looks to be in good shape.  I don't know if the front diff will fit my 92 Tracker, but if any one else knows it is out there for the taking.  Just thought someone might be interested.

I believe most people would prefer to put the 92 Tracker front diff on the 99 GV, rather than the other way around - 99~05 have a pneumatic free wheel mechanism inside the front diff that is ocassionally problematic, and the 99's also have a few other issues with oil levels and leaking seals.

Do you remember which wheels it had on it, by chance?

The most coveted piece (if it has it) is a steel front diff housing that'll let you run Calmini's Anvil.  Some are aluminum; so, you have to check.

I remember the wheels as aluminum, I think they were torn up from the wreck though.

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure if that steel fron diff housing is what people wanted for the strength.
