Right now i run 30s no problem i have jeffs 2 inch suspension lift and no body lift. I was wondering how much trimming i would have to do to fit 33/12.50s. Any pictures of any one who all ready got this done with this same set up.

I have saw it a few times. but omit the word trimming for hacking, hammering and rubbing. its not so much the height of tire that hurts you its the width. a 33x9.5 is going to fit alot easier than 33x13.5's.

The floor area is going to be getting rubbed big time by a 33, I have done
the Hagen widening mod, which moves the A-arm forward, and a 4" body
lift and I still rub under full compression
You are going to have to do more than a little trimming

Without a body lift, that would probably make 32's hard to fit also?

Ya, what you really need to look at is the real height of the tire you want to use.
My 33-13.5 15 Swamper LTBs have a real height of 32.8 inches, nearly 1/4" shorter
than their numeric sizing. Some 32s might be 32, and some might be 31.5 tall, so
it's really up to you to determine the lift you need, how much rubbing you can live
with and the tire size you really want to run.
On a side note, if you run a 33, what gears are you going to use to correct the gear ratio?
Planning on an Undertaker? is it a Daily Driver? the power is going to be really bad if you
correct the gearing, imagine how bad it's going to be with out it.
Without gearing on a DD I would go no more than a 30 or 31 tire, and that is going to
really do a number on your commute fun, I found a 235 tire on stock gears was good
power and drivability as well gives you a little more of a truck look, the next size up is
a 29 or 30 LT tire, and if you get tires in a MT design, they seem ride higher as well as look
taller, where an AT tire tends to look more like a car tire, and looks shorter, I'm not
sure if this is an optical illusion or the way the tire is built
Go to my tire and gear calculator and run some numbers, look at how the different
sizes of tires will affect your speed and how much of a gear change would be needed
to correct the gearing if it were available
Good Luck

The best way is with a lift and put 235 85 16s on , narrow and tall and not as heavy, I will post a pcs when I get my lift on next week

X2 if you just have to run 33's with minimal lift stick to metric sizes or a narrow SAE measured tire. The narrow tire will drive better on the street, clear better through the steering cycle, give better mileage and still have plenty of flotation for a light weight rig. And just be plain more enjoyable rig to drive

I agree with both above statements. I run 32x11.5 AT's and now think I would have been better off with a 33 9.5 MT.
