Title: Help...front A bar mounting...

Hi, new to the site, just picked up a tidy gv 1600 2 days ago and looking to tweak it a little.
Not my ist suzook, have owned inthe past, 413, Jimny (wifes) and a Soft top Gv2000 (also wifes)

Any how, I am modifying a front bar from a Nissan Terrano to fit the GV, my Question is:
"What are is the best mounting place under the front of the GV"

This is probably just a synmantics barrier, but what is an " A BAR? "
