Title: a 4spd auto sidekick tranny in an 87 samurai?

Has anyone put a 4spd auto in their samurai?  I am selling one for a guy but have thought about trying it in my samurai. Does the tunnel have to be widened? can I still use my transfer case or would I need to keep the sidekick one attached? Would it just be a waist of time to put one in?
