Title: 95 engine to 97

I can get a 97 four door pretty cheap but it needs an engine I have a 95 two door they are both 1.6 engines could I swap engines with no problem ???

If they are the same type of engine, like 8V or 16V, but you must swap the
intake or swap sensors so the computer gets the right info

Going from a 95 to 96 you will also need to swap the oil pump and oil pan to support the crank position sensor.  And the distributor, but not the distributor housing.  That is the same.

You might also have to swap the heater/water tube that sits between the block and the alternator.
