My tracker starts up and purrs like a kitten , after 5 or 10 min. or so it just shuts down as if I shut the key off and will not restart untill it sits for about 5 min.
I replaced the ignition module , no change so I replaced the coil and still no change , any idea where i go from here ?

What year is the truck?
I'm thinking the computer and the bad capacitor problems some early
models had
Wild

It`s a 93
-
I'm not sure about that year, Is it a 16V or 8V engine?
-
8v motor , automatic trans.
-
OK, the only way I know that you can figure out if the computer has
the bad, leaking capacitors is to remove the computer from under the
dash, it's on the drivers side, and look at the board, if there is corrosion
and swelled capacitors (tops will look like a dome instead of flat) then
you need to replace the caps, or send it in for repair if you are not able
to do the work yourself

-
Where should i send it to be repaired ? and any idea how much it will cost ?
-
Did you pull the computer out and verify it needs repair?
it may not need anything and we will start looking at other
problems that it could be
Wild
-
Ill pull it out after work
-
The computer seems to be ok
-
That looks like the old style caps have been replaced with new
surface mount ones, look on the back side for brown spots where
the board has got hot, this could also indicate the problem spot
if there is one
-
I see no problem here , everything looks like new , any idea what to look at next ?

After the truck runs and stalls, and then will not start, have you checked to
see if the ignition is still sparking? If it is, then you might have a bad fuel pump
or a bad relay that is shutting off the pump

Can you tell me where the fuel pump relay is located ?
-
Under the hood next to the battery I think.
It's been a while since I messed with it
-

What is that? That is not an ECM for a trackick. A trackick ECM has a gray painted metal case and has 2 wiring plugs that plug into it. That looks nothing like that.
-

On a bracket on the underside of the ECM (the ECM is on a bracket located in behind the drivers side front stereo speaker). The fuel pump relay will have a connector that has at least one pink wire running to it. The other identical relay that is next to the fuel pump relay is the main relay.

They must of moved them in the later trucks, I would swear mine was under the hood,
I jumpered the relay plug to run the fuel pump with the engine off to do some fuel PSI
testing when I was building the turbo setup, that was like 8 years ago, so you see why
I wasn't sure which one it was

Nope, they are all right by/under the ECM.
