Looks like an ambitious plan. I chopped the front off of a sidekick at the same place. I then proceeded to remove more material. My reasoning was more of a rust removal thing but, it does free up a lot of room for bigger tires w/o the inner fender wells. I hope you don't mind my sharing.
Good luck.

Sounds like an awesome plan. Who's is the orange trackkick in the last pic? That thing is friggin sweet. Got any more pics of it?
-
I'm not sure who it belongs to i found it on google got to love google.
Anyways i have almost got the frame straighted back out, and have been cuting off the junk i dont need anymore so i can strengthen the front end. more pics to come when i get time to take some work is getting in the way

You're still planning on doing a tube front end? Looks like you got a lot of body damage and glad to hear that the frame is almost back to normal...it doesn't look too bad!
-
Yea still going to do the tube front end trying to find axles right now as soon a i get them the steel yard has my tubing ;D

k so i changed my plans completely over the past couple months. Due to the gas prices and to having another little one on the way. I bought a parts truck for 600 bucks good deal complete truck.

Looks great boss! Waiting to see when you'll elongate and slightly square off the rear fenders to match the front! That way you can stuff that rear tire further without hitting the back edge of the fender.
Looks really good. Congrats on getting it back on the road!

Looks great. Thanks for keeping us posted.
