Title: '92 Sidekick heater control valve location

Could someone tell me where the heater control valve is located on a '92 Sidekick.  I checked the "usual" location by the firewall in engine compartment..nope.  Is it on the interior firewall?  Heater is always on and slide controls have no effect.

In my 96 the heater case is inside, in the middle of the panel, if you look from the pilot side you will see the Temp control cable &  Mode Control cable., check if the cables are connected.
Inside the heater case is the heater core, the cooler is always running, the heater is active just with dampers.
