Title: front end oil leak

its comming from both ends of the front axle. is this because of the output shaft seal? (what the guy at advance told me to order)

That sounds about right.  I would pick up a knuckle seal kit or a knuckle rebuild kit.

yeah after i tore it apart i realized the idiot that i bought the truck from didnt even tighten up anything. the king pins weren't even tight! i unscrewed them with my figures! but thank you for the links, i ordered the kit today :)

you wouldn't believe how dirty they were. the oil leak+dirt=P.I.T.A to clean. took me about an hour per side just to clean. next investment is going to be a parts cleaner :) maby a sand blaster too
